Our story
Pronghorn Decks began with a passion for craftsmanship, a love for the outdoors, and a desire to build something of our own.
Before starting Pronghorn Decks, I spent years working alongside my brother in the high-end deck-building business in Ohio. That experience taught me the value of quality craftsmanship, attention to detail, and taking pride in the work you leave behind.
Eventually, my wife and I decided to make a big change. We moved to Colorado, drawn by the mountains, the outdoors, and the opportunity to build a new life together. It was there that the idea for Pronghorn Decks began to take shape.
For me, building decks has always been about more than the structure itself. I love taking an idea and turning it into a beautiful outdoor space where people can gather, relax, and make memories. A well-built deck can become the place where a family shares dinner, friends gather around a fire, or everyone comes together at the end of a long day.
That’s what I love most about this work—creating beautiful spaces that bring people together.
